Where Curiosity Takes Center Stage

One Minute Gardener was created by founder Shari Carlson in 2011. Shari is a mother of three children and a grandmother o12 and a great grandmother soon numbering 2.

Our focus is ot encurage children to love nature. People protect what they love. in order to create a resilient and flourishing earth we must educate the youth. We are responsible today for what we have created and we can do better. Our focus is on nature using technology to go outside and learn the names of bugs and plants and animals and fish etc.

Today our vision is a 501c3 public educational charity started in 2012.

BY FOR AND ABOUT KIDS

One Minute Gardener believes in educating children about their natural environment. We make learning about nature fun so children become responsible caretakers of Earth.

One Minute Gardener began in 2010 created by Shari Carlson, a grandmother of twelve. Now a 501C3 Non-Profit Educational Public Charity, we are bringing nature to kids through technology. www.OneMinuteGardener.org

One Minute Gardener creates “in a minute” videos about bugs, plants, fish, and birds. We are building an APP so all children can access and watch, free of charge, these programs.

The app promotes activities for children such as creating drawings and taking photographs and videos of their environment and posting on their page. We have experts online to answer questions and help identify the inhabitants of their environment.

One Minute Gardener welcomes new board members and volunteers. Technology, education, fundraising, finance and production are just a few of the areas we are in need of expertise. Join us as a volunteer or serve on our board of directors and help develop our programs to educate, inspire and entertain children.
